This coffee is like a tropical vacation for your taste buds, except without the jet lag, questionable tan lines, or awkward conversations with your Airbnb host. Grown in the volcanic soils of Alajuela (a region where the coffee is so good, it probably should have its own national holiday), this medium roast is bursting with sweet apple, raisin, and honey notes — like if your morning coffee could also be a fruit basket.
The beans are carefully cultivated on micro farms at an altitude of 1300–1445 meters, so they’ve seen some things — like stunning mountain views and serious coffee-making potential. They’re eco-pulped and dried in the sun, which means they’ve had more natural exposure than you did on that one hiking trip you promised you’d take but never did.
With Caturra and Catuai varieties in the mix, this coffee is as smooth as a beach breeze and just as refreshing, minus the sand everywhere. Drink it, and suddenly you’re mentally on a hammock with a cocktail in hand, even if you're actually just sitting at your desk pretending to work.
